Missing Comment from Cannes 'Unlawful Killing' Movie on Princess Diana Post

Blogger is starting to annoy me. Last week, Blogger had technical problems and removed blog posts that were published on May 12, 2011. While the posts have since been restored, they did not restore all of the comments that were left on these posts. This blog was among those that were affected and Herman Turnip's comment on my post titled "Unlawful Killing at Cannes Film Festival Sparks Controversy" still has not been restored, so here is his comment, since Blogger is wacky these days:

I think it's good that people are talking about this. There's a huge difference between a movie death and the death of a real person. This controversy proves that not everyone out there is jaded and desensitized. It shows that there's something inside us that has compassion and empathy towards the misfortunes of another human being, even one we've never met in person but are all too familiar with.

Sure, I could sit in a theater and watch 100 vampires get staked, a plane full of convicts go down in flames, and a giant lizard destroy Tokyo because I know what I'm seeing isn't real. But man, show me the death photo of someone like Princess Di and I instantly cringe and wish I hadn't seen it. It doesn't mean I want to boycott such a film. It just isn't my mug of ale...

Before adding this post today, I tried to re-Publish this comment by Herman Turnip but when I did, Blogger displays a message that says "The comment doesn't exist or no longer exists." Are they kidding? That message is pure bullshit!

Luckily, I saved this comment when I was first notified about it through comment moderation.

Still, Herman if you're reading, please accept my apology for this occurrence.

Hey, I get to comment on my comment. I wonder, will this cause a disruption in the time / space continuum?...

No worries about the missing comment. I know that Blogger came down with a serious case of the shingles recently. I noticed the issue across all of the other Blogger blogs that I follow. It was a shame, really.

But don't worry, quality blogs like Madlab Post will keep me coming back time and time again. Keep up the fantastic work! You've a dedicate fan over here on the west coast :-)

Herman,

It better not cause a disruption, after the one that I already had with this blog, lol.

Thank you for reading the blog and also for your understanding with regards to the whole Blogger hiccup earlier this month.
